Dancing In The Rain...
I was recently given a keepsake box (thanks, Gail) in honor of my 40th anniversary of beginning dialysis (whew!). I discovered that the quote on top of the box was by a noted motivational speaker and philosopher, Vivian Greene . The quote so embodies my philosophy and message, that I want to share it with you. It is, as follows:
“Life isn’t about waiting for the storm to pass. It’s about learning to dance in the rain.”
If that doesn’t say it all, I don’t know what does. No matter your life obstacle (in my case, kidney disease, yours may be something else), it’s about finding joy and living life…the “lemonade out of lemons” theory. After all, the storm may not pass (like kidney disease), but that doesn’t mean life is over. My hope is you will take my, and Vivian’s, message, and share it with everyone you know, particularly someone who is having a difficult time of it, no matter the cause.
